In this episode, we're going to be talking about the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 17:1-6. This is a story about how God provided for Elijah during a time of drought.

We'll start by talking about the context of the story. Elijah was a prophet who lived in Israel during the time of King Ahab. Ahab was a wicked king who led the people of Israel into idolatry. Elijah was sent by God to pronounce judgment on Ahab and the people of Israel.

As part of his judgment, Elijah prayed that there would be no rain for several years. And God answered his prayer. The land became dry and barren, and the people were suffering.

But God didn't abandon Elijah. He provided for Elijah in a miraculous way. He sent ravens to bring Elijah bread and meat every day. And he caused a brook to flow near Elijah so that he could have water to drink.

This story is a reminder that God is always faithful to his people. Even when we're going through difficult times, God will provide for us.
